Hello, I’m Shu Wan

I’m the photographer and designer of Welight Studio.

I graduated from Multimedia University in Film & Animation, and though I once aimed for the film industry, photography captured my heart back in 2010. From 2011 to 2016, I photographed weddings, graduations, and families while co-founding a studio with friends. After becoming a mom in 2016, I stepped away from the studio, explored design, and continued taking photos for close friends. Their encouragement, along with the emotions I felt looking back at each photo, inspired me to eventually start my own studio.

In September 2024, Welight Studio was born. For me, this journey isn’t just about passion or titles — it’s about continuing to do what I love: capturing life’s precious moments with honesty and artistry, while growing in design along the way. I believe each person created by God is wonderfully unique, and I cherish the chance to listen to your stories and preserve them through timeless images.
